Hey, I’ve met Douglas Ginsberg! He was a legal scholar at my law school for the past couple of years and had lunch with the editors (myself included) of the legal journal I was on. He’s a nice guy.

How come no one ever mentions Zoe Baird? Clinton nominated her very early in his presidency and she withdrew because it came to light that she employed illegal aliens as her housekeepers/nanny. I was in seventh grade when this all went down, and I remember it very well.

If I’m not mistaken, Robert Bork was the one who “fired” Special Prosecutor Archibald Cox under the Nixon administration. It seemed to me at the time that he was primarily rejected because of drug use…
