Remember too, that there are four major record companies that are responsible for 99% of all the music you hear on the radio today. These are the companies that make up the RIAA (they all have dozens, if not hundreds of smaller labels under their umbrella) so their demands for more money, and whining about copyright losses all come down to millions being funneled to other countries. Additionally, remember all that great American country music you saw on the ACM awards last night was all put out by foreign record companies who are all mighty glad to scoop all that American money.

Sam Adams = yuck. I'd rather give my money to the S. Africans.

Pilsner Urqell= yum.

Budweiser is good for a cheap, watery buzz, for which there certainly is a time and place.

My recaptcha is never very interesting. I feel cheated.

Isn't Coors jointly owned by the Canadians and the South Africans?

If the AB sell gets approved, Sam Adams will be the largest American based brewery.

Trader Joe's is owned by Germans and 7-11 is owned by the Japanese, which explains why there are so many of them in Tokyo.

And Budweiser (Anheuser-Busch) was founded in America and has always been (until yeterday) an American company. It was NOT originally a foreign beer. If you're talking about Budweiser Bier you're talking about a different beer made by a different company.

I assume the electronics colossus that bough Columbia is Sony, although not mentioned by name.

Casey, I thought Nestle had always been a Dutch company.

My Lucent phone has now lost a bit of its luster. Are there any of the old television brands not owned by French, British or Asian companies?
