The greatest internet moments site was surely a joke. Nevermind that it looks like a web page from 20+ years ago, it also contains bizarre grammatic constructions: “Most of those reading, are probably already thinking. INCORRECT!”
and then: “there was no cameras present”
and “there was only around 300 computers”
or: “the internet would not have ever became what it is today.”
“created a simply concept”
“Search engines predated the web. Enough said.” -Um, OK.
“Thus gave birth to websites” -Oh, the power of thus!
“medias” -a pluralized plural
“many other various forms” -now that’s variety
“it rapidly grew into people were looking for apartments” -eh?
“Completely dominated the classified industry and even taking it away in some cases from local newspapers.”
-sounds like something Completely would do.
“However, at the end of the day it is a never ending world that could barely be defined, just by looking at its map one may reflect on its vast nature.”

The ’submit’ button for the comment field at this site says ’search’ instead.
And it cites Wikipedia.

I sent a link to the story of the ducklings to my sister, just ’cause I thoguht she’d appereciate it.

She did, very much. And, she also happens to be the host of NPR’s Weekend All Things Considered, so as it turns out, Joel the Duckling Rescuer is going to be on NPR this weekend! Sometime between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM on Saturday or Sunday, I dont’ know which.

When they first started Google Moon, if you zoomed all the way in, the images changed to pictures of cheese. But it looks like that doesn’t work anymore.

I went to google moon, and the Apollo 11 site, and looked at the “flag” picture.

It really is “split” >:-O honestly!!

Fortunately, zooming “all the way out” still leaves me “on the moon” so THAT part isn’t true.

I got to see a preview showing, and yse, Dark Knight is awesome. It feels about 8 hours long, but it holds your attention the whole time. :)
