As for SHISH, you have the problem of the reversed Ss.

But you’re TURNING the word upside down, an action that you did not specify in the poser.

When you just flip SWIMS upside down, it becomes SMIWS.

That’s why I got HIKED. I’m sure there are others, when you think about just flipping the letters.
