Frank Zappa has a spider named after him, because a pattern on its back resembles his moustache.

He also dedicated an entire concert to a jellyfish named after him, and the scientist who named it so.

Hapalopus aldanus, a tarantula species named after Alan Alda on his nature show Scientific American Frontiers. Poor guy is a huge arachnaphobe, otherwise he might have been more excited about it.
