I have one hang-up with the touch-screen format: it is not accessible for the visually impaired (the industry that I work in). I know, I know, we've all heard the "why does the drive-up ATM have Braille on it?" Well, although a blind or visually impaired person may hand their check card to a friend to use, they are less likely to hand it to the cab driver. Rather, they will be accessing the ATM from the back seat.

Banks -
I couldn't care less about how many buttons I have to push - just make it so that I can *reach* the buttons. Not everyone owns a monster-size SUV, you know. I don't have a little sports car, just a normal size vehicle. And I (unfortunately) don't have Go-Go Gadget arms.

Dear Banks:

The last thing I did at an ATM has the highest chance of being the NEXT thing I do at an ATM. About 90% of my transaction with ATM is to get the same amount of money out each time, but yet I have keep punching the same inane buttons each time. Grrrrr.
