I don’t know if I saw a quick clip of My Fair Lady recently or exactly what happened, but I’ve been going around saying “ello” to people for nearly a week now. And yes, most of them hate me for it. But as work imitates life, Kara and I decided to put together an “ello” quiz just for your mental_floss folks. Feel free to return here and comment with your scores. Enjoy!
P.S.: The reason the quiz doesn’t include a JELL-O question? JELL-O has a nasty hyphen. Now you know.
I got 44%. Yuck.

Hey, the Costello question is wrong. Frank Costello was born Francesco Castiglia, so Costello was not his real last name. The answer should be changed to “none of the above”. Unless, of course you were referring to the Nicholson character in The Departed, but I don’t think you were.

Thanks QuizTaker – and you’re absolutely correct. That answer has now been fixed.

In the Disney movie “Bednobs and Broomsticks” there is a song about Portobello Road. The characters go there looking for a missing page from a book of spells, I think.
