The quote that, â€œthese thin models make women feel bad, but they like itâ€ seems to have missed the whole point (and in a misogynist way). Having a higher opinion of the products doesn’t mean the women enjoy feeling fat; it’s further proof that they wish they weren’t. They don’t want to buy the products with regular-size models because “regular” equals “nothing special.”

One problem with your theory is that all the research shows what WOMEN think about WOMEN in advertisments. The only other president I can think of (I am sure there are others) that people actually think of as “skinny” or “thin” is Lincoln.
