  1. Raised in Conroe, Texas the Slate story of The Bulletin’s plagiarism cracks me up. This is nothing new with this fine piece of bird cage liner, from Conroe, Texas. Additionally, you have to understand the nature of this paper, its a weekly (and cheaply done) advertiser that often uses articles to make up for the ad space not sold. It didn’t surprise me but is a different world now and little things like this don’t go unnoticed and as it seems hell hath no fury.
Plagiarism is my new pet peeve, after recently sitting through a Sermon one Sunday Morning my daughter leaned over to me and said she saw the sermon the preacher just delivered on Youtube. Sure enough when we got home she Googled it and there it was, I was completely shocked. Is there no more originality. Couldn’t she have at least given credit to the original author, Do people have no shame?

  2. Wow, there’s nothing like Cracked.com to explain scientific theories in a mature, educational manner…

Sorry to vent, but I’m glad my kids didn’t read it….

  3. After reading this post I was catching up on 30 Rock, and they started talking about the uncanny valley! More proof that it’s one of the best sitcoms around today - it has a mental floss-level intelligence.
