woo-hoo 12/12.
i guess it doesn’t hurt that i’ve been in productions of over half of these from h.s. thru college.
oh… & there was that one year i was a depressed teenager (unrequited love-ha!) & spent all my time holed up in my room with my nose in my mom’s musty old shakespeare volumes. hahaha, i can laugh at that now.

Absolutely hated Shakespeare in HS and college. Language is a beast and everybody dies in the end. It wasn’t until I was 28 and saw my first live production (A Midsummers Night Dream) that I finally GOT it. Shakespeare’s funny! Who knew? Now, I see it live every chance I get. Just saw Two Gentlemen and Hamlet this summer. Can’t wait til fall productions get underway.

I agree Branagh’s “MAAN” was excellent. And I noticed the “R&J” still was from the ‘68 Zeffirelli film.
Love Shakespeare! A quotes quiz might be fun. Or maybe a synopsis quiz?

8/12. Mostly second guessing myself, however. I love that a still from the excellent movie “Much Ado About Nothing” was used. If anyone else remembers, Gwyneth Paltrow’s character in “Shakespeare in Love” uses Valentine’s speech as her audition for “Ethel, the Pirate’s Daughter”. Do I get bonus points for remembering the “original” name of the play? ;-)

I guessed on every single one. When the results page loaded, I completely expected my first 0/12. Much to my surprise I somehow got an 11/12. That’s some lucky guessing!!
