The article about the food kitchen hits home. I have a BA in psych and have two steady, well-paying jobs, but for a year I had to live off credit cards and am now close to $45k in debt (the really depressing part is I'm only 25). I constantly worry about paying all my bills while still being able to provide for myself and my family. I've considered several times about going to a food bank, but the thought that holds me back is that I know there are so many others that need that food worse than I do, people with kids and no jobs and no insurance, people that are really struggling to survive. I feel like I'd be snatching food out of their mouths.
