Mine is spiders, but not just seeing one in real life, although that's horrible. The absolute worst thing is if I see a macro photo of one's face. It seriously makes my heart stop and I feel nauseous and just horrified. The eyes and eyes and eyes (UGH) and FANGS, and it's all fuzzy, and ugh. I can't even think about it.

I also get freaked out a bit by the lotus seed pod things and other holey-type stuff like other people mentioned.

I'm not sure if this is really a phobia but I hate elevators. Most of the time I'm OK in them but if it's a glass elevator, I basically have to just close my eyes/face the other way and breathe deeply. I frequently have nightmares about elevators either rising extremely quickly or falling and crashing which doesn't help much.

My fiancé is terrified of needles and snakes. He'll pass out if he sees a needle and can't even watch one on TV. And snakes he just hates. He thinks they're all going to bite him or crawl into his ears.

I have a horrible fear of snakes and STYROFOAM!!

Today I had to make a cake, and getting eggs out of the carton is always a challenge for me! I ABSOLUTELY HATE that sound and feel, I've already got goosebumps

I too in general don't like foam, but I can deal with most of them!

I used to smoke A LOT of weed in college, and I had a general fear of "authority figures," namely the police, parents, professors, and even staff on campus serving food or whatever. I also sometimes developed a fear of being permanently high and never being able to act normal again for when I was around such authority figures.

Ever since I can remember, I've always been terrified by the sound of static. Be it on TV or the radio. White noise in general creeps me out.

TV static is the worst though. It sends me into fits or terror especially if the volume is up loud. I can watch a television with static on it and no sound but it makes me incredibly uncomfortable and just want to cry and run away.

Fear of crickets (or any bug that jumps at you). I've always hated "Jiminy Cricket" from Disney and get the cold sweats when the song "When you wish upon a star" is on.

So, no one but me is afraid of needles? They terrify me. I turn the TV channel any time one is shown.

I have a strong fear of Kleenex. I cannot stand the feel of it even the ones with lotion. I have no where this phobia comes from.
I also don't like cotton balls that have glue on them. I always think they will somehow get jammed down my throat. I know exactly where this phobia comes from. 1st grade. Christmas Time. Snowman made out of cotton balls project. I remember violently gagging that whole day.

I don't think it qualifies as a phobia as I don't live in dread it, but when someone wrings out a cloth, or I do it, it gives me the heebie jeebies. I must look away when someone does it or my body hurt, down to my teeth!
