Kate had been playing the subdued, less than glamorous role of Nurse Jill Danko on "The Rookies" and wanted a change of pace. However, Kate quickly tired of putting up with glamour and requested to wear simple clothes while Farrah and Jaclyn took to disco-era glamour like ducks to water.
