1. I agree with the Arrested Development spin-off idea. Tobias was definitely my favorite character on that show, but GOB was a close second. We would have to involve him, too. I like the idea of Tobias getting his medical license back and moving to Boston. Perhaps George Michael and Maebe would actually live together and be married? (Remember, they were accidentally married for real in that "fake" hospital wedding.)

2. This summer, I rediscovered a favorite food of my childhood: peanut butter and marshmallow fluff sandwiches. Also delicious is the Nutella and marshmallow fluff sandwich. It's like a s'more, but not quite as toasty and delicious. Still good, though.

3. I would love a chemistry-themed t-shirt.

I can't come up with a spin-off to even compete with the ones submitted. Some are just genius. However, my summer food is probably the most unusual: menudo. This is a Mexican soup made with tripe (beef intestine-kind of rubbery), hominy, and other vegetables. It tastes a lot like the standard American vegetable beef soup, but with more zing. It is often served with side dishes that can be added to it, such as chopped onion, cilantro, lime wedges (for their juice), and crushed red pepper. It is also often used for a hangover cure (though I haven't overindulged in alchohol in over a year).

1. Well, Chad mentioned mine kind of, but I'll expand a bit -
Tobias Funke from Arrested Development moves back to Boston and has his medical license reinstated. I think just his scenes with patients, as their 'analrapist' would be plenty of fodder for a great show, but it could also include other characters from AD. He and Lindsey could try to reconcile and save their marriage (repeatedly), Maebe could visit, George Michael could run away from home & try to live with his uncle...there are just so many great scenarios!
Basically, I'd be in favor of anything that continues that wonderfulness that was AD (and I hope the rumors about a movie are true!).
2. I love tomatoes in the summer, although I have not eaten nearly as many this year as I do most years. I have been on a kick of eating them with fresh mozzarella this year, which just combines two of my favorite things.
3. I think some more literary and/or grammar shirts would be great.

Having graduated from college, Willow Rosenberg (Alyson Hannigan from Buffy) is looking for a job in a tight economy. After several frustrating and unproductive job interviews, she sees an ad for a "Technology Wizard" to teach at an exclusive private school in England. Yes, the school is Hogwarts. Willow's new job is to bring the new magic of computers and technology into the lives of her students and more than a few curmudgeonly practitioners of the more traditional arts.

The show would be somewhat of a continuation of Buffy only told from the teacher's side, perhaps like a cross between Welcome Back Kotter and Harry Potter. There would be plenty of room for action, mystery, fantasy, drama, and comedy.

"Barneys'" (Yes, the apostrophe is in the right place-read on.)

Barney Miller of, well, "Barney Miller" retires and partners with Barney Gumble of "The Simpsons" in a bar that is also a cover for a private eye business. Imagine the fun when Fish comes to visit his old captain and engages in a staring contest with Barney's 3-eyed pet fish from Springfield! Watch Miller try to keep Gumble from drinking up their profits!

How about this???

How about WELCOME to the BACK OF THE CLASS?

Meet Robin and Rachel Kotter (twin spawn of 'Mistah Kottah'- former Sweathog/
Teacher/Vice-Principal). The Kotter twins are now attending Millard Fillmore H.S. and are as 'academically motivated'/wisecracking as their father was.

Enter into the mix, first year (and same age as the Kotter twins) teacher/genius Janice Lazarotto - former student in the Individualized Honors Program at Fillmore.

Lazarotto is excited about being placed as the Individualized Honors Program teacher, but a massive technical glitch mixes up the teaching assignments and she ends up with the chronically remedial students, and their two 'shining stars' - the Kotter twins!

You'll laugh, you'll cry - as Lazarotto tries to work her way through red tape to get back into her rightful classroom position, only to discover on the way, that she is growing to care for these unintended students.

1. Larry, Darryl, and Darrell Do America
Those silly siblings from the northeast discover that they are independently wealthy and decide to travel across the nation, looking for something that makes sense only to them. Zany madcap antics ensue (don't they always?).

1. Sheriff Opie
Reeling from a divorce and a failed business, Opie Taylor returns to Mayberry and finds it's no longer the quaint little town he grew up in. When his father and his deputies are slain by street gangs, Opie swears he will make his hometown a safe place again - no matter what it takes.
