I have a crusty old VHS tape that has a Showtime (or HBO, or Cinemax?) special of \Pee-Wee’s Playhouse\ that was filmed live on stage featuring the groundlings. God, that was so f*ing funny. I was in college when that came out and we used to watch it all the time. Then the tv show and movie followed shortly thereafter. I’ll have to see if I can find that tape somewhere…

I LOVE pee wee’s playhouse!!! I bought the dvds a few years ago and my 3 yr old has been watching them almost every morning while eating her breakfast for almost 2 yrs!!! Im going to have a pee wee cake for her 3rd bday this week!! ohhhh and the show is WAAAAYYY funnier when you watch it as an adult…watch it after a few drinks too, thats even better! lol

My dad didn’t really “get” Pee-Wee’s Playhouse, but he thought the claymation in the Penny cartoons was really cool. He would make a comment about it every time.

I used to play everquest.

I named my character Mechalekahi Mechahineyhineyho.

I sold it for 2 grand a few years back.

Not too many people understood where i got it from.
