The fact that I refer to today’s answer as being an “American English” word might provide a hint, so keep that in mind:
What’s the only remotely common American English word
that contains the first two letters of the alphabet (AB) in order
AND the last two letters of the alphabet (YZ) in order?
HERE is the answer.
argggg… I need to start reading the whole thing. I thought it had to start with AB and end in YZ
The closest I came was abyss.
…abyzzzzzz?

Ok, this is picky, but isn’t analyzability also at least “remotely” common?
Other fun words that work:
hydrolyzable, dialyzable, plasmolyzable
What? You don’t use these in every day speech? Maybe I’ll go to Feyzabad to see if their vocabulary is any better.
