I’d heard rumors that you could buy a lot of things from Japanese vending machines, but I had no idea of the variety. According to ThePhotomann, the Japanese vending maching industry made over $56 billion in sales in 2000 alone, and you can pick up anything from rice, to eggs, to kerosene, to fishing supplies at them.   1. When my friend went to Japan she saw a vending machine filled with porn, cigarettes, and beer. She said anyone could’ve just walked up and bought any of it.
