Whoa, blast from the past. My grandparents had that exact model dustbuster and it was my job as a youngin’ to get under the kitchen table after meals and ‘dustbust’ the crumbs while grandma did the dishes. Neat.

Was the Macy’s Parade nationally known before it was on TV? Was it on the radio maybe? There are tons of bands so it would make sense for that to be how they broadcast it back then? Maybe an idea for a post: the origins of the Macy’s Parade.
