Ohhh… Theme cruise ships sound fun! I remember for a while there was a semester at sea course (your college study-abroad on a ship!!!) I always wanted to go.

There’s also a Magic: the Gathering cruise being put on by a tournament organizer that features major tournaments and events in that game. Though it’s much more a one-shot “special event” than the others.

i remember a while back there was a “Browncoat Cruise” for fans of Firefly
i have no idea if they still do it.

We get Elderhostel groups at the my place of work (unnamed to protect my employment) about 4 times a year and we always call them the “hostile elders.” It’s a pun that no mortal can resist.

aw cmon………….we are about to embark (in November) on the geekiest cruise ever.

It is a Bingo Cruise!!! U gotta be a geek to play bingo and especially on board a ship. Not just the rigged bingo games like on most cruises but one for big money.

It will be 3 full days of bingo playing.
