		<description>Interesting read as always.  However Valerie the Democrats really should have stood up in 2000 when Phil Gramm dropped 200+ regulation bill into a larger spending bill that essentially deregulated the markets and securities that have caused the collapses we are seeing now.

		<description>Greed, over speculation, privatizing profits and socializing losses is the issue here and its knows no political party boundaries. Free markets work well when things are going well. Praised to the heavens - thank goodness for the &quot;invisible hand&quot;. When the party&#039;s over and sh*t hits the fan, that same praise of the free market is eschewed and the government gets called in.  Just get your tax mop ready to clean up the mess.</description>
