The Emmy's were always really strange in who would get nominated. Sadly its all done by one episode of a show and depending on what gets sent determines whether or not it wins. So you could have a series with one brilliant show and the rest of it junk and it could still win. (At least, as far as I remember the system working anyway.) Yeah, I was shocked to see Max Headroom get a nod, still not sure how that got pulled off.
