I love the British Museum! There’s a case that displays the Mildenhall Treasure (an actual British treasure for Claudia). I think it’s cool because it’s the very small village I live in. I also enjoy the Native American and Americas rooms. Such a great place even if all the artifacts were stolen (or saved, depending on who you ask).

I would love to see more articles on museums around the world. I think stories behind artifacts are fascinating. I’d love to hear more on where the best museums are located and what they have on display.

It’s a good thing Elgin took the statues, the Turks had a tendency to grind them up into fertilizer.

When my (now) husband and I visited the British Museum, we declared it was mis-named. It should be called the British Plunderers Museum. There ain’t a legitimately British thing in there…
