HERE is the solution.

  1. But I’ve only heard of one of those names! I immediately thought PEN and dismissed it. Has anyone heard of a Penrod before? OY!

On a lighter note, I’m not really mad, just upset that I didn’t stick with my original answer. :O)

  2. the give-a-way was the last one, elope. But I didn’t know penrod was a legitimate proper name. Or Pennine for that matter.

  3. If you’ve never heard of Penrod, pick up a copy of the book the next time you’re at the library. It’s worth a gander.

  4. -enelope gave it away… would have used -feld.

  5. If I ever have a twins, I’m totally naming them Penrod and Penrose…

  6. And I shall name MY twins Pena and Pennine… how odd.

  7. and I’ll name the twins of my hispanic mistress……
    jose
    &
    josb

  8. The title of the game was a pretty good hint too….no pencils allowed.

  9. I got it right. My last name is Penrod :)

  10. Penrod, as in Booth Tarkington’s novel, or Penrod Day, an Indianapolis Arts Festival in the Butler-Tarkington neighborhood which takes its name (the day, that is) from it’s association with Tarkington. Yay Hoosiers!

  11. got one! this brings my total to, what, three now? :D -elope gave it away for me.

  12. Who the heck names their kid Penrod?!

  13. Hey watch it, heather…MY name is Penrod!!!

    OK, ok…it’s not.

  14. I shall name my sister’s daughter Denise and Denise’s brother shall be Denephew :P
