If you google athletes drinking breast milk you get articles about athletes and patients using breast milk. There's even a bank

My apologies, I said that before I researched it. It's completely valid. All I can say is wow. So we'll turn women into cows?? Oh, yes, let's save the animals and degrade the people. Good plan. Sounds like it was done just for publicity. I agree with you, Skunkie.

That PETA letter sounds like a hoax meant to make fun of the organization to me.

Why is the thought of adults consuming human milk so repulsive? The idea disgusts me personally, but why? Almost all of us have had it as babies, and it was a pleasurable/beneficial experience at the time.

Also, this did not occur to me until embarrassingly recently, that most cows must be kept in a cycle of pregnancy in order to keep producing milk.

I just heard that some cows apparently can make milk without ever being pregnant, but I'm too grossed out about animal milk to research further at the moment.

Okay am I the only one that wonders why PETA didn't offer the real and readily accessible options of Rice and Soy (or almond, cashew, etc) milk. Oh yeah, they aren't interested in change, just publicity.

I read about the guy passing gas on the cop yesterday and told my boyfriend, who is a detention officer. He didn't find it at all funny. He said that had happened to just about all the booking and detention officers he knew at one point or another, and in general it is considered tantamount to spitting or throwing bodily fluids on correctional personnel. It's just another way for someone to disrespect a law enforcement official, therefore they have no tolerance for it. Plus, the story I read said the man deliberately fanned the "expulsion" toward the cop - not cool.
