I have always admired Paul Newman for putting his money to work in such productive ways… he set up a real win-win situation with his Newman’s Own line too, it’s high quality stuff and the proceeds go to good causes

Paul Newman was absolutely amazing! When he tells Liz Taylor to “lock the door” at the end of “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof”, I completely melt. No woman in her right mind would have refused that request.

thank you for this post. he’s my favorite actor of all time…when i was about 8, i tried to get everyone to call me butch cassidy. when that failed, i tried cool hand luke. nobody went for that one either.

And yes, Bruce Willis is in Nobody’s Fool. He plays Melanie Griffith’s husband. I didn’t realize he wasn’t credited — it’s not a simple cameo.

You didn’t include The Sting? A CLASSIC. Newman and Redford were unbeatable.

There’s also another nice little film called “Nobody’s Fool” with Paul in it which features (I believe uncredited) Bruce Willis. It’s a really great underrated one and I highly recommend it to all Newman fans.
