GIven the number of strikes that seem to be going on with the transportation industries over there, all of these are probably quicker and more reliable than BA or Air France air travel.

This got me thinking…..
Arrival in Gare du Nord, after a comfortable Eurostar journey looks pretty boring in comparison !
.Now I am a regular passenger on Eurostar, but the other ways look more interesting to cross the channel. Been contemplating the Jet pack for some time, probably I am too heavy for that though. By the way I thought the Jet pack â€“ Rocket man was French ?

Was anyone else forced to read a story about Gertrude Ederle? I think it was in one of those lame “Celebrations” color coded reading books in school. She’s since been stuck in my brain as an example of a super buttkicking woman, maybe its her name that made her stick in my mind.

The point about the channel is that for experimental transport, it is seen as a good demonstatration of your fail in it – because if it fails, you fall in the sea.
