Ever wonder how ex-presidents spent their twilight years? After reading Mark Updegrove’s fascinating book Second Acts: Presidential Lives and Legacies After the White House last year, we assembled this quiz on the subject. Let’s see how well you know your former Commanders-in-Chief.

Take the Quiz: Life After the Presidency

  1. 6/10. I only knew two for sure. Reagan because the other two answers were patently untrue, and John Quincy Adams because I’ve seen Amistad quite a few times!

  2. 7/10. Not bad for a lot of SWAGs

  3. I don’t know if this would be worth the effort, but I would love it if you made a special part of your site where you had a list of books mentioned and a link to the blogs they were mentioned in. I have read a couple books from the MF blog in the past (I just finished Lies my Teacher Told Me/ Lies Across America; and I am starting on “Second Acts” tonight.) I had to hunt around for the name of this book. Anyway, just something to consider.
