  1. Ugh! I always do #10 in the writing tips list. It even bugs me.

  2. #8 is a pet peeve of mine, also.
    #9 is up there, too.

    I notice many people use ‘they’ as a singular to refer to individuals for whom the sex is not known.
    It’s funny how the plural is gender neutral, but the singulars are not.
    So we have a singular plural and plural singulars.

  4. #8 is a huge peeve of mine too! Mostly because my dad ALWAYS corrected me on that and it finally sunk in. Now I can stand it when others make the mistake.
