The telescope was patented 400 years ago. Although it took a while for people to trust the observations of scientists, the instrument changed out entire point of view.

The $1.25 Remote-Controlled Ghost. A nearly universal experience you may relate to.

There are only about 400 North Atlantic right whales left on earth.  A research team from Boston’s New England Aquarium knows them all, either by sight or by DNA.

The barbershop quartet from the Starship Enterprise. The impressions are spot on, and they can sing, too!

  1. Oh wow, the 7 foot tall ghost. I sent for one of those (probably out of that same Richie Rich comic book) and had the exact same expectations/disappointment.

  2. The Star Trek quartet is sweet, I wonder how many people realize they’re using an Allan Sherman takeoff of a traditional barbershop song? I learned the lyrics to 5′2″ Solid Blue before I learned the original was 5′2″ Eyes of Blue!

  3. How has no one commented on Kung Fu Election yet? I have the feeling the Republicans are better characters – I finally won with Palin (got to fight Hillary – whose special attack is quite hilarious). If only they could stage the debates like this too, I’m sure the whole country would watch.
