Kevin beat me to the punch (easily enough, since I was so late commenting on this post), but I agree that this gives a whole new meaning to “feeling art.”
Sometimes it amazes me how imaginative people are… Like how Maestre came up with the techniques she uses. Really impressive!

I have seen Jennifer Maestre’s work before and love it. I have work in colored pencils for years and have always hated throwing away the nubs. I have an old cermaic jar that I started throwing them into while never really knowing what I would eventually do with them. If I had Jennifer’s address, I would send them to her.
