Most people around here lost their pumpkins to flooded fields after Hurricane Irene. Not only is this cool, but it might keep them dry.

Well, I was wondering if it was possible to grow a pumpkin so it shapes itself to a mold, and now I know! Thanks! I just need to make a mold out of something transparent in the shape of our building…

Ooh, I want to try this and also try scratching a name into an immature pumpkin — I did that for my mom’s preschool, and they proudly displayed the huge personalized pumpkin at their autumn open house, but it was only normally pumpkin shaped. Imagine the fun if it was a giant personalized orange muffin! The mind boggles.
