@ Don- No, in the singular form, potato has no “e”, just like tomato. The -es is added to make it plural. And that is your Spelling lesson for the day! :)

When my three-month-old daughter has one of her crying fits, one of the things that consoles her is loud singing. (She seems to like my voice, which means she might have terrible taste in music.) Anyway, I wind up falling back on TV themes. Mr. Belvedere, Gilligan’s Island, Perfect Strangers, Cheers — it’s really quite a performance.

I am NOT embarrased to say that I got 100%. Honestly, I regularly listen to Televisions Greatest Hits Volume 3 (70’s and 80’s). It has many of these themes on there. Suprisingly, there are some very strong songs on there (including Believe it or Not from The Greatest American Hero and the number one hit Welcome Back by John Sebastian from Welcome Back Kotter). Highly recommended and it helped me to a 100% here.

Embarassed to say I got 100%.

Even more embarassed to admit that I have more than 100 television themes, and songs used as themes, in my iTunes collection including a version of the Get Smart theme with Bob Crane (yes, of Hogan’s Heroes) on drums.

However, Mike Post is still the king of this realm.
