Leopards are rather despicable creatures when you look at some of their natural behavior: they will cannibalize their own young, are highly opportunistic predators, and have been known to disrupt ecosystems. Cheetah, on the other hand, have one of the toughest lives of african savannah dwellers.

Cheetahs have a smaller head where the Leopard head is more inline with the size of the body.

Cheetahs actually meow and chirp themselves, rather than roaring. For this, they're categorized as just 'large cats' rather than 'big cats' like their fellow lion, tiger and leopard friends.

You should have also put the difference between a leopard and a jaguar. In case you're interested, jaguars are stocker, live in South America, and they easiest way to tell is that jaguars have a small spot in the middle of their rosettes, and leopards don't.

I wonder... Is meowing a form of roaring for a housecat? They also have the ability to purr while inhaling and exhaling. Other than size, it makes me wonder what other differences the domestic housecat has from their larger cousins.

That would be an interesting What's The Difference?
