The year was 2007. (Let’s say late April/early May.) The Dow was over 13,000, the Tampa Bay Devil Rays were a national joke, and most of our politicians were running for President. The first Democratic debate was April 26th at South Carolina State University and featured 8 candidates. The Republicans went 10 deep at their first debate, which was held on May 3rd at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California.

Some of these candidates didn’t last much longer. Can you name all the politicians who joined Barack Obama and John McCain way back when? (You’ve got three minutes, and last names will suffice.)

Take the Quizzes: Name the Republicans and Democrats from the First Debates

  1. I am a Republican, but I got all 8 Democrats, but I missed 3 Republicans. Shameful. I even remembered Mike Gravel, no one remembered Mike Gravel.
