Do I!! Sometimes I still find myself humming it at work. Doesnt help that I work at a packing warehouse and ship packages all over the U.S.. So yes I find that song stuck in my head quite often.

I’ve never heard the “Fifty Nifty United States” song. Maybe I’m too young? I was required to learn all of the state capitals, however, and be able to find the states on a map. So I was still able to answer this brain game!

“Fifty Nifty United States” did the trick for me. I occasionally pull it out as a joke at parties… which makes me sound rather sad, actually.

It’s amazing that I still remember “Fifty Nifty”. I think I was in the 3rd grade. That’s how I came up with the answer. I remember once in OM we had like 30 seconds to list as many states as possible. I remember I got the most (I don’t know how many that was) but I didn’t get past the M’s. It was embarrassing because I was living in New Hampshire and hadn’t even listed it!

Good quiz today. I had to revert back to the elementary school song I learned, but it was fun. Thanks for the clip Miss C. I agree with Johnny Cat. The creator does not like Idaho. :O)

Not to be a nag, but… well, ok I AM being a nag, but still… in Wyoming, the “y” is indeed a vowel. It’s only a consonant in words where it makes a consonant sound, like in “yes.” Right?

I never learned the states in order, but there’s a great song from the cartoon Animaniacs that lists all fifty states and their capitals. Never lets me down.
