		<description>Very cool.  When I was younger and used to go into NYC a lot, I had a map of the NYC subway system on my bedroom wall.  Now I know where the idea came from.  I still have a miniature copy of the map that I bring with me when I go to the city.  It makes it look like I know what I&#039;m doing. ;-)</description>

		<description>As a mapmaker, I&#039;ve encountered Beck&#039;s Underground map many times and I&#039;m always inspired by the &quot;outside looking in&quot; aspect of his creation.  His ability to visually convey only the information that was needed in the best possible way - by disregarding that which wasn&#039;t important - is a really amazing feat of design.  I love it.</description>
