I think you could do an entire post on vampire lore alone.

What about crosses, garlic, running water, shape-shifting, sunlight, coffins, reflections (or lack of), etc? And what about the story that one must be invited in order to enter a house?

But in Harry Potter you can become a werewolf by getting bitten…I don’t get it (sorry but I’m obsessed with Harry Potter).
I never knew there actually was a thing called wolfsbane/aconite…wonder if it’s also called monkshood…

Dr. Dave,

Even in folklore, staking, beheading and setting fire to a vampire have been pretty fool proof. For werewolves, silver bullets work according to some myths, and don’t, according to others. Your best bet is removing its heart and setting it on fire.

And zombies, well, unless they’re of the true living dead variety, killing them would probably get you in trouble with the law.

Im actually dissapointed with zombies now… being controlled is no fun compared to a teething brainless corpse who lumbers around munching on people.

Vampires have it the best.
