I thought that I first saw it on Monty Python but it seems to be a bit older than that. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walk_this_way_(film_line) See link for more info on the gag “walk this way”. The "walk this way" gag wasn't pioneered on "Young Frankenstein" (arguably a remake of "Son of Frankenstein"). I saw that gag in the 1960s, I think in a Bugs Bunny or Daffy Duck cartoon.(Which would be from an earlier decade). (This doesn’t contradict Steve Tyler’s story. Frankenstein (the modern prometheus) is a million times better than Dracula on paper, but both are very interesting on all films, even the idiotic ones. Great read! A few of my cousins do not like people to know about this family connection; most of us think it's really cool. "Of course I'm a little weird. I'm part Frankenstein!" Mad Monster Part (1967) - One of those great 60's animagic productions. "Baron von Frankenstein (voice of Boris Karloff) decides to retire, leaving the monster business to his nerdy nephew, Felix Flankin (Allen Swift). Frankenstein plans to announce his decision at a convention of monsters that includes his creature and the creature's more intelligent mate (Phyllis Diller), Frankenstein's seductive fembot laboratory assistant Francesca (Gale Garnett) (resembling a caricature of Ginger Grant from Gilligan's Island), Dracula, the Werewolf, the Creature from the Black Lagoon, The Invisible Man, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde, The Mummy, It (a knock-off of King Kong), and many more. However when Felix proves to be an incompetent (and unsuitably kind-hearted) human, the monsters plot to eliminate him and gain control of Frankenstein's latest discovery: the secret of total destruction!" Mad Magazine creator Harvey Kurtzman penned the script. Oh, yeah... it was also a musical. Yop, there are 12 musical numbers. It is also rumored that Warner Bros. is currently working on a remake of the film, possibly in CGI. Click my name for the trailer. PS. Sylvester Stallone played Machine Gun Joe. Hey, what about David Carradine as Frankenstein in the 1975 laugh-out- loud classic Death Race 2000?
