I pre-ordered and it was shipped by Amazon and should arrive Monday. However, even though my credit card was charged I still don’t have a coupon for my free magazine subscription. I will keep an eye out for it — but now wondering if I’ve been DUPED!

I tried TWICE to write and ask a question about the nature of the free 6 month subscription, and never got a response. Why not? Now the deadline is past!
Can you please tell me if my emails were even received?

I got my “coupon” for the six-month subscription today, directly from Amazon. I think that Amazon is handling it, you may need to contact them.

Anyone who preordered from Amazon should be getting an email from them with the free subscription code today or tomorrow. Nobody’s been DUPED. If you haven’t received an email by Monday, leave another comment and we’ll get in touch with the fine folks at Amazon. Sound good?

Thanks for the advice, etc. I will wait more days. It appeared from the publicity that AS SOON AS THE BOOK SHIPPED the coupon would arrive by email. I thought that’s what I should expect — I have received a shipping notice and a “price guarantee” lower price email from Amazon, but no coupon — and that is what had me concerned. I thought it would come right away. High expectations based on the articles here online.
I used the word “duped” purposely. Got your attention, didn’t I?

I got the book on Wednesday, got the coupon on Saturday, and placed my order for a free 6 month subscription today…all went smoothly for me!

I’ve been reading it before bed every night, it’s really entertaining. I especially like the sidebars.
I’m still waiting for my subscription coupon, but I won’t panic until tomorrow :)

–Book was “scheduled” to be here today but NOT delivered yet
–I complained here and to Amazon
–NO COUPON YET

STILL NO COUPON. Book arrived Tuesday (a day after promised delivery) and NO COUPON despite AMAZON EMAIL saying coupon would come 11/3.
I read the reference above and wrote an email.
I AM QUITE PERTURBED AND QUESTIONING IF I WILL TRUST YOU AGAIN.
Because of a previous order problem with M_F, I always buy on the newsstand and never subscribe (any more)….. now I have really got bad feelings.
