The &quot;security flaw&quot; was actually a backdoor that the programmers put in that allowed them to log in to any server running their e-mail system.  Twenty years ago, the backdoor was well known and it was understood that anyone who knew about the backdoor also knew enough to use it responsibly.  In today&#039;s world it would be considered reckless, irresponsible and stupid.

It was begging to be abused.  Robert just did the obvious.  There was a lot out outcry, but I think it was a very cheap lesson.
