none – n = one. None is technically even, I believe.

Then I thought of Seven and figured that was more likely.

Yep, Kev! I figured someone might say SIX, since SIX – S = IX, the Roman numeral for nine.

This applies to a lot of roman numerals too. For example, removing the I from IX or XI will result in X, which is an even number.

My guess was 11. When you remove L it also becomes Even.

I think your solution should read: Remove the “S” and you have “even.”
