I read that Clark Gable and Cary Grant would send each other the unwanted monogrammed gifts that they had received, since they both had the initials C.G.

Re #1, my mother’s birth certificate says she’s a male. She has since proved them wrong by having six children.

I read about the halitosis story somewhere and then rewatched Gone With the Wind a few months later. There are so many scenes where they’re really close together! All I could think of was bad breath and it kind of kills the story for me. Great post. I was hoping for an all Clark Gable day so thanks!
