I called the county clerk and informed them he was deceased and to take him off their list. Two weeks later my deceased husband received a warrant for his arrest for not responding for jury duty. I called the county again, and again informed them "he wouldn't be showing up for jury duty" and the reason. I was informed that if he's stopped by a patrolman while driving, he would be arrested. So I told them "Ok, you do that!" I had to send the county a copy of my husband's death certificate to stop the summons. One year after my husband passed away in 1995, he got a jury summons.
