I always played it RPS plus the dynamite, and this was in the early to mid 80's when i was around 8 years old...
i'm surprized at how many people never heard of the dynamite version?

I still want to believe that this is more of a game on chance. I didn't know that there were a lot of factors involved in this.

Gun Rabbit Carrot

This weekend I created the newest RPS. Read on and I think you will enjoy a version that truly has legs (pun intended).

Played exactly like the tried & true original with a team of three fun new characters.

1. Gun shoots Rabbit
2. Rabbit eats Carrot
3. Carrot fouls Gun

Hand signs are real simple too (dumb easy):
•Gun is index finger and thumb
•Rabbit is symbol for bunny ears
•Carrot is middle finger (or depending on age & company pinky finger works well too)

All other rules apply.
1 2 3 show...Gun Rabbit Carrot.

There is one subtle difference which I believe will forever change the game (in a good way). With traditional RPS as you do the three count prior to showing you are already holding rock (tight fist). In GRC you must choose something besides a fist for a first move. I believe that this technically improves the games concept very slightly. Plus since Carrot is middle finger that added to the competitive psychology. So does Gun for that matter. And Rabbit adds a cartoonish "live" character to the mix.

I created this game the night Norfolk had a viral game of Zombie Tag game called Survive Norfolk (very fun to bring to your town too BTW) so it's spreading like the flu in Hampton Roads. ;)

Go enjoy GRC & have a brand new light hearted experience with our timeless favorite!!

How fun is that?!
Go share n play =)

Such an in depth article on what I thought was such a simple subject. I will be employing these tactics in my future RPS encounters.
