Pardon me for observing that low-ranking graduation and menial jobs in the PAST do not “confirm” one is a loser. Isn’t it the opposite of being a loser to transcend mediocre beginnings? You may not like what he does — and I’m not a Drudge fan either — but you cannot argue he hasn’t had success with it.

And forgive me for further noting …I’ve known very bright individuals that didn’t have the focus in school to achieve high grades, and were content enough to do unglamorous work that didn’t slurp up their entire life and left them free to do what they wanted. I don’t look down upon them because of that.

Hey, I was born in the next town over from Drudge’s hometown. I guess that’s not a compliment, actually. It’s really, really close to DC (inner Beltway, for those who know), which is probably why he’s a political commentator. It’s also a nice area, with lots of older homes.
