A friend went to her first life drawing session, and she was a little uncomfortable drawing the nude male model, so she thought that talking to him during the break (while he was clothed) might put her at ease. She asked him if he was a student, and he informed her that he was a student, but at a different local school because our school had a policy of not hiring it’s own students for nude modeling. Then she said “Wow, it must pay really well for you to get up in front of everybody and take your clothes off.” He replied “I’m an exhibitionist. I’d do it for free.”

Yeah, that didn’t do anything to make her more comfortable.

The second was a serious freak. He was a guy who came in for an open model session. We used them if we needed more practice or if we had missed a class. So this guy comes in to be the model. He’s in his late 40′s and a bit overweight. Not a big deal, but when he got up on the platform and whipped off (yes, dramatically) his robe (orange silk) he revealed that the only hair on his body was on his head. He immediately assumed a dramatic pose, emitting a “SCHWAAA” sound as he did so. Every time he would change poses, he would rapidly move and make that sound. It was not unlike the sound that the doors on Star Trek made. Also, his penis was pierced. And dripping. And lets just say that area didn’t stay motionless while he was in position.

Hoo-boy, that was an, um, interesting session.
