Last week, we launched our first iPhone trivia application, Big Fat Lies! To get people in an App-downloading mood, this week’s Lunchtime Quizzes will all be based on the game. You’ll be given two statements, one true, one false. Your job is to spot the big fat lie. Today’s topic: Alaska.

Take the Quiz: Alaska

If you’ve got an iPhone (or iPod Touch) and $2.99, head on over to the iTunes Store and get downloading. (That link should open up your iTunes and send you right to Big Fat Lies! page of the store. If not, you can search for “Big Fat Lies” and it will come right up.)

  1. Did anyone else notice the position of the plane in the “runway” photo? Eeks!

  2. I, for one, will be VERY HAPPY when this “Biggest Lies” series is over. It’s not only that it gets me confused, but there aren’t always explanations of the truths in the answers. Argh!

  3. I wonder how Gov. Palin would do on this quiz.

My guess would be horrible. Come on people, it is only fair to say (and being completely non-partisan) that she is an idiot.

  4. 50%: I forgot until halfway through the quiz that I was looking for the lie. Oops.

  5. A highway is the world’s longest runway? That answer needs more explanation. Or Texas should designate I-10 an emergency runway and make it the world’s longest.

What’s the longest runway that has scheduled takeoffs and arrivals?
