Just watched again last night; that movie says so much to people who grew up in the 70s, 80s and 90s. I have to say, I especially love the nostalgic scenes of Christmas time. Like when he watches home videos wile trapped in the attic. The last scene really embodies the spirit of Christmas and family life today. Love it!

another hilarious moment when Clark is trapped in the attic and he is trying to get his families attention as they are leaving, he tries to open this little window and its all complicated and he can’t get it open enough to stick his head out. I crack up so hard, its hilarious.

It’s not Christmas w/o the Griswold’s…

there’s an easy to miss scene during the middle of the movie when Rusty and some grandparents are sleeping through a parade on tv. On the tv, the announcer can be heard saying, ‘here’s come the nutcracker, oh looks like he lost his nuts…oh here they come.

My all-time favorite part is when the police bust into the house to the tune of “Here Comes Santa Claus”.

I’ve probably watched this movie 50 times, but I laugh until tears every time I see that part.

anyone that doesnt like christmas vacation… airplane…. the jerk… AND austin powers (the first one) is just flat out retarded.

i try to focus on a different charactor everytime i watch christmas vacation..

the windmill is the funniest scene, and since nobody said these quotes…

“the little lights arent twinkling”
and
“is your house on fire, clark?”

on yeah, the energy dials too
