ar16 and amanda, a miscarriage is a loss of human life, loss of life is death. miscarriages and abortions are deaths. why wouldn’t you consider them deaths?

I’d like to point out that the 5 recorded deaths in the London fire were the only skeletons found, wheras the intensity of the inferno most probably killed thousands. Also, the Great depression was of great importance, as it helped Hitler and the Nazis to power in Germany as a side effect. Oh and the signing of the magna carter wasnt that important but it was used as a propaganda tool by the american revolutionaries. But this is just history according to me.

Tax cuts for the rich was a cause of the Great Depression. I have taught U.S. History and Economics for 25 years and that’s the first time I’ve heard that one. Or maybe someone’s political leanings are showing.

The Great Fire Of London is more famous for the fact that it pretty much stopped the Plague that was attacking London at the time. True it was slowing down, but the fire helped a lot.

Thomas Jefferson presented his committee’s draft of the Declaration of Indepenence to the Continental Congress on July 2, not July 4. It was introduced after the Congress approved Lee’s resolution calling for independence. The Declaration was debated and amended on the 2nd, 3rd & 4th, and adopted on July 4.
