I had no idea there were such fancy hotels and retreat places for dogs. I love the idea of yoga for dogs, too. That dog in the forest near the pond looks really serene

The last time my husband and I went on vacation, we left our dog with the local pet hotel. For $30/night, he got a small room, food once a day, and a couple walks so he could pee/poo. We paid an extra $18/day so he could play with the other doggie guests for a few hours during the day.

After that, I thought about opening my own pet hotel. I don't know how much it all costs, but I don't think you should have to pay extra for your dog to play with the other dogs. I'd never do that to my child and my dog is basically my child (since I don't have any of the human kind).

In reference to the second place's name, you must know the old joke defining "yankee":
To the rest of the world a Yankee is from the USA.
To the USA a Yankee is from the northern states.
To the northern states a Yankee is from New England.
To New England a Yankee is a guy in Vermont or Maine who still has an outhouse.
(As for dogs, as a puppy my dog used to gnaw drywall, too. So I sprayed the bottom of the walls w/ hot sauce, then tried lemon juice. Now the dog likes spicy food and citrus fruit.)
